Fatal! Write Failure: /etc/valiases/domain. Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure!

Ok, it is fixed. For some reason you had a parked domain of somecanonical.domain and this domain is already in your system (your main domain in fact). If you want to do something with that in the future as there was no DNS entry for a parked domain you will need to make it a subdomain and if you need to
redirect it it can be redirected.
